Review of Planet Terror (2007) by Kevin O — 26 May 2013

I'm a little late getting on the Robert Rodriquez band wagon but after this movie and Machete, I am fully on board. He has a great eye for the absurd and can put it on film in away that may not be believable, but is humorous and entertaining.

This could have been just another zombie movie but a great cast that totally embraced the "cheese" factor that accompanied the throwback/grindhouse style of the film really made it work. Plus you are guaranteed to see things in a Rodriquez film that you are not going to see anywhere else in todays movies.
