Review of Planet Terror (2007) by Edd J — 05 Aug 2013
If Death Proof is the brains of Grindhouse, Planet Terror is the brawn: mixing the back alley 'grindhouse' style of b-horror, clichéd characters and hints of not giving a flying sh*t if the main characters succeed or not make Planet Terror stick to it's own guns and deliver what it says on the tin.
It isn't great but it certainly is enough to make you not flip your sh*t when the film cheekily misses out about twenty minutes of footage with a cute little "Missing Reel" frame.
