Review of Planet of the Vampires (1965) by James H — 28 Oct 2006
This was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting a hopelessly hokey, ultra cheap Italian sci-fi film. Instead got an interesting and imaginative film, that did a great job with it's meager budget. There are some genuinely chilling moments as well.
The acting is adequate, probably the weakest area of the film. It is dated, but this was impressive in 1965.
