Review of Planet Hulk (2010) by Joseph S — 18 Mar 2010
Decent adaptation of the Planet Hulk storyline, but it feels incomplete since the last part of the story wasn't covered. This is better than a lot of comic straight to DVD stories and it is possible because it is an actual adaptation of a year's worth of Hulk comics.
The change from the Silver Surfer to Beta Ray Bill probably had non-comic book readers questioning who this horse head guy is, but I guess it makes sense if the Silver Surfer is either tied up in legal wrangling or if Marvel wants to take the character another direction.
The movie however ended before the end of the series and left out the ironic/tragic part of the story. I hope for a sense of rounding out open plot holes, that they decide to make a sequel.
