Review of Planet Hulk (2010) by Noel N — 06 Sep 2011
A little confusing for anyone who doesn't follow the comic adventures of the Hulk, as I think the vast majority of people still think of the Hulk as a destructive inarticulate monster, not the creature who can converse in whole sentences.
Based upon a limited run in the Hulks main continuity which sees him removed from earth and sent to another planet, where after first becoming a gladiator he then becomes part of a rebellion to overthrow the current regime.
The animation is solid, the voice cast is good but without the preceding storyline it feels a little redundant and is clearly hampered by Marvels characters being owned by various studios and production companies, BetaRay Bill replacing Silver Surfer is a good example of this.
