Review of Planet 51 (2009) by William M — 13 Nov 2010

For all that this movie has to offer, it truly is a pleasure to watch. :) And I have to say that having Dwayne Johnson as the astronaut is kind of funny too, as his mannerisms come out well. Yes, this is an animated movie that the kids would love. Yes, there is a good storyline that is reminiscent of our own society's views on extraterrestial lifeforms. And yes, some of the actors and voices like John Cleese's character in general just wanna make us laugh at their portrayals. The professor/scientist who wants to take out their brains to examine. Although some of our people may be the same way, just the way he is focused on it and the idea that humans will take over their brains with thought and make them zombies. Kinda silly but still funny. And you gotta love "rover". ;).

All in all, if you get to watch this with the family, they will love it.
