American 50s alien-style of all things clean inventions seem to dominate more than the plot and American astronaut's funny personality. The robot dog rescue mission seemed un-challenging and brief, as if your grandpa can sneak in the alien army base like it's a simple walk in the park - not Mission Impossible enough to make the robot dog a canine celeb ;;.
