Classic John Hughes - funny and endearing. Martin and Candy are such a good comedy team. They play off each other so well that it makes the extraordinary circumstances they find themselves in more believable.
The zany circumstances aside (and they are quite hilarious) what makes this film a step above other screwball comedies are the quiet character moments - just Martin and Candy in the car/plane/whatever, revealing more and more layers to their characters.
