Brilliant script writing and acting. Steve Martin is perfect for the dry nothing is going right for me part and John Candy is perfect for the enthusiastic but annoying guy you can't shake off, the on screen chemistry between the two characters works perfectly.
So many comedies since have tried to get what this goes for in some respect and failed. A comedy classic.
