Review of Planes: Fire & Rescue (2014) by Ana B — 14 Aug 2014
The second instalment of the adventures of Dusty, the dust cropper; after learning that his gear box is damaged he knows his racing career is over, pushed by circumstances he ends up joining the fire and rescue department of a forested area where he learns this new and unexpected trade and where he meets an array of selfless new characters: strong leader Blade, bubbly Lil, smart Maru...
Unmistakably, another Disney film telling us the story of a character finding out what means to be successful and what is important in life.
It is a truly entertaining animated movie, properly done, with the right balance of action and drama. From an adult point of view is very predictable but kiddies will not notice it and thoroughly enjoy this tale of friendship and second chances.
