Review of Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957) by Richard L — 20 Jul 2010
This is arguably Ed Wood's "worsterpiece" in the unintentionally bad movies category, but personally I think Bride of the Monster (Wood 1955) is more watchable. The acting in Plan 9 from Outer Space is terrible (although Tor Johnson and Vampira actually perform decently), the dialogues are endless plot dumps leading nowhere, and technical errors can be found all over the place.
The storyline borrows from multiple genres, mostly sci-fi and horror, but doesn't make sense at all.
