Review of Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957) by John E — 17 Apr 2010
One star for being unintentionally funny. The movie is quite funny in the first half when it is special effects heavy, but poor Mr. Wood's lack of ear for dialogue or lack of funds (I'm guessing) keeps him using long takes that rely heavily on lengthy, poorly delivered and written speeches.
I'm not going to bother listing all the problems with this film; they're innumerable. There are films less entertaining out there, but there are likely no films as technically bad as this or with such shoddy continuity.
