Review of Places in the Heart (1984) by Ken B — 02 Jan 2013
Based on a true story and among the best movies I've seen. All the cast gave stellar performances and I was especially impressed by John Malkovich's performance as the blind lodger and Danny Glover's as Moze.
It is a moving film that held my attention through every minute and I am so very glad I didn't miss it. The final scene confused me until I realised its powerful and moving message - how things should have been if it weren't for deceit, bigotry and hatred.
