Review of Pitch Black (2000) by Cody H — 10 Jun 2010
While there are some inconsistencies, like, wouldn't the dark monsters just attack because of the minimal light used against them? And what was the deal with the monsters killing each other? These two things aside, I really liked the overall story and Vin Diesel plays a great antihero.
The group themselves prove to be the real antagonist, the monsters just fuel the fear factor. Overall, it's nice to see a horror movie set in space and done with clever style.
