Edwards Scissorhands, The Lone Ranger, Sweeney Todd. Johnny Depp has a weird history with some of the characters he has played but Pirates is a quirky, fun, logical story that never takes itself too seriously.
Great performances from Keira Knightley, Orlando Bloom and my man Geoffrey Rush make this a pretty easy 4 star rating.
