Best pirate movie ever? I don't know enough to make that judgement but it's very very good. It's almost like if you took a star wars movie and just made them colonial pirates and added in cursed treasure.
The world is completely engrossing. The charm of this movie is off the charts. The directing and action are both good. The characters are all likeable, even the bad guys.
