Thoroughly entertaining, filled with loveable characters, well acted (with Johnny Depp's performance being the best of his career), with an excellent production design, outstanding special effects and nice hairstyling and makeup, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' may not inspire a good ride at first sight but it definitely does and leaves you wanting more.
