Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) by Steven G — 14 Jun 2014
Decent, but far from great. On Stranger Tides feels forced and unnecessary, with a plot that feels hopelessly cobbled together. Blackbeard and Angelica are interesting new characters, but the mermaid-related subplot fails to hold dramatic weight because the characters are not interesting enough.
Good CGI and sets as always though.
