Review of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) by Brandon S — 06 May 2015
Though their efforts to re-simplify the franchise and pull it away from the slightly convoluted mythology don't go unnoticed, this is a movie that just isn't quite up to snuff. It's not bad by any means, but it, yet again, can't seem to capture the movie magic of the first film once again.
It's not horrible, but it's certainly an entertaining watch.
