Review of Piranha 3DD (2012) by Baurushan J — 19 Jan 2013

Although it goes for some fun, it doesn't hold up as much as the first film which I totally loved and gave full marks. The story is about the school of prehistorical blood-thirsty piranhas who have returned back to the water after the tragically bloody incident.

Now they have arrived at a water park. Ving Rhames returns as one of the Sheriffs and Christopher Lloyd returns as the fish expert. Other stars include, Danielle Panabaker, Chris Zylka, Matt Bush, Katrina Bowden and strangely Gary Busey and David Koechner "AND" David Hasselhoff makes a cameo as a lifeguard.

It doesn't measure up as good as the first film nor hold up as much of the continuity of the first film treating this film more like a stand-alone sequel (e.g. Home Alone 3) and plus it features the visuals of great but wasted cameos.

Piranha 3DD gets a 8.5/10. Sorry but after watching some movies which I gave similar marks to this movie, I feel ashamed that I gave this film a positive score so I will give this a score less. Piranha 3DD gets a 6.
