Review of Pinocchio (1940) by Trey K — 08 Jul 2011
The film where the Walt Disney Company realised and began to use its artistic license to unfailing effect. Talking, anamorphic animals, young boys becoming asses and a deep sea battle with a whale showcase the old studio's diversity in a new way against the already-impressive Snow White.
Simply one of the studio's greatest films.
