Review of Pinocchio (1940) by William Z — 24 Sep 2011
"Pinocchio" is a brilliant film not only for it's timeless characters, beautiful hand-drawn visuals, and great songs, but mostly because of its wonderfully warm, sweet characters (and the not-so-sweet ones too).
While many people consider "Pinocchio" to be inferior to other classics such as "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" or "Cinderella," "Pinocchio" stands alone as being a far more engaging, charming, and moralistically satisfying.
