Review of Pinocchio (1940) by Erik P — 09 Mar 2010
I have always viewed Pinocchio as the greatest Disney film of all time. Traditionally, Snow White is considered so, but this is an improvement over that. The animation, music, story, and characters are all better in Pinocchio.
And of course, there's Jiminy Crickett: one of the best Disney characters ever. The whale scene represents quite possibly the most thrilling climax in any animated film, as well.
