Review of Pineapple Express (2008) by Trent R — 12 Aug 2015

Alongside films such as 'Superbad' and 'Knocked Up', 'Pineapple Express' marked the start of Seth Rogen's dominance in the adult comedy genre. A plethora of similar films quickly followed, and regardless of whether or not you like each of them, there is no doubt that he has helped revolutionise the comedy genre.

'Pineapple Express' combines a now familiar cast, and produces a relatively entertaining and humorous action comedy adventure. The story line is relatively basic, although this can of course be somewhat forsaken, so as to prioritise the comedy. Definitely a comedy worth checking out, whilst it won't necessarily blow you away.
