Review of Pigsty (1969) by Matt M — 02 Apr 2013
Two stories, one set in the past about a young cannibal and another in the present, about a rich young man's hate for human relationships. Pigsty is among Pasolini's most enigmatic films, and also perhaps his most difficult one.
Its unhurried pace and detatched storyline makes it pretty difficult to watch, but the film has an underlying dark satire feels pretty inspired.
