Review of Pierrepoint: The Last Hangman (2005) by Darren W — 01 Dec 2007
Typical to the point, gritty, truthful British film that I have become accustomed, thoughtful, interesting & compelling, does not set out to glorify the death penalty but show you in its full effect, the sad victims of 'justice' as well as the righteous evil doers that got their Cummupence, Timothy Spall is awesome as Pierrpoint, his human side shows through when preparing Evans & Ellis for their fate, 5 out of 5 for me!
