Katie Holmes's career looked so promising. That was before she got caught in the Tomkat farce. The movie was a very good surprise. It dealt with heavy issues such as death, racism and dysfunctional families but in sensitive and humourous way.
Katie Holmes, awkwardness worked for her, but Patricia Clarkson, who played her mother, stole the show.
