Review of Pieces of April (2003) by Cathy D — 12 Dec 2007

I was very impressed. The filmmaking isn't great, but that's part of its brilliance: it proves that good characters and a good story are more important than fancy special effects (yes, Hollywood, I'm yelling at you!).

Definitely worth seeing, especially as a reminder at Thanksgiving to be thankful for family, friends, neighbors, relationships, and life.
