Hmmm... what to say about this one... I didn't hate it, yet I didn't love it. I was expecting sooooo much more from it. After all it is Katie Holmes and I believe she is so much more than what you see, I truly think she is talented.
But even though I liked the whole idea of getting away from your family to pursue your unique-ness yet at the same time not forgetting about them and trying to keep a relationship, for some reason I felt like the whole plot, the whole idea was poorly developed, it lacked a lot of oomph! The entire film felt very bland.
The acting was very good for it was a very good cast though. I think it was the poor direction were the problem lies.
