Review of Pieces of April (2003) by Sunshine W — 09 May 2008

Funny, real, complicated, and beautiful. This movie gets into the heart of folks with simple recognition of what the individuals in the story are living with and how they then relate to one another. The daughter who could never do anything right finds community gets her there. A mother dying from cancer copes the best way she can. A partner holds love so deep that he'll do just about anything for that love.

It's a great movie...go watch it.
