I added this to Netflix months ago and forgot why, and wondered as I read the description why I thought I'd like this movie. Well, my wife and I both loved it. Watching a novice cook make amusing attempts at cooking, and the realistic family tension portrayal made for a charming and engaging ride.
Katie Holmes plays her punky free-spirit character well.
