I found this intensely human drama/dark comedy very affecting. the writing was tender and the performances were potent. katie holmes is fantastic as always (she is one SERIOUSLY underrated actress), but huge thanks must be paid to the amazing patricia clarkson who turns in a magnificently layered performance.
this is a high quality film with a very emotional payoff.
