Review of Pieces of April (2003) by Sfg 7 — 15 Aug 2009
Independent film which tells a very original story. The movie is about a girl whose family is coming to her apartment to spend Thanksgiving. She's not very interested in making the dinner but her boyfriend encourages her to do it.
So everything goes well until she finds out her oven is broken down. From that moment on, the movie is really funny and blends comedy and drama perfectly. Patricia Clarkson's performances is great, good that she got an Academy Award Nomination.
Katie Holmes showed me she could really act!
