Review of Pieces (2003) by Andrew D — 01 Jan 2010
Pieces is loaded with hardcore violence mainly dismemberment with a chainsaw, everyone's weapon of choice in the horror genre. The story revovles around a boy that hacks up his mother with an axe and then years later starts to kill again to collect pieces of the victims from each murder scene so he can build a woman? I guess.
The violence is not the only thing on display also the script is down right hilarious at times, but the score is amazingly effective.
