I last saw this as a wee child YEARS ago and remember bothering my dad with loads and loads of questions as I tried to figure out what was going on. Revisiting it as an adult, Picnic at Hanging Rock is a haunting and atmospheric piece that gets right under the skin and stays there.
It made for uncomfortable and powerful viewing.
