Review of Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) by Philip E — 14 May 2008
Three schoolgirls and their teacher living in Victorian Australia vanish into thin air whilst picnicking at an eerie geological behemoth named...Hanging Rock. That's about it. I felt as if the answer to the mystery was constantly dancing within reach, but was a bit too transparent to grasp.
For those of you who require closure in all of your films, skip this. Beautiful, nonetheless.
