Has there been any other film which has shown love as pure as this one has????????? ....no there hsnt been any...its still a wonder dat how Bresson has been successfull in bringing out the pain,the failure,ego and love in the end part.
.. thru an unprofessional actor(that time) Martin LaSalle's soft gestures and his brilliantly expressive eyes....the ending scene will still be remembered as one of the greatest ending scenes....and the words wil echo forever in your mind----''O Jeanne! In order to reach you what a strange way I had to take''.
