4/12/02 - Pi is a pretty interesting, original concept for a movie - a mathematical thriller. It's about a scientist trying to solve the meaning of life through numbers (I don't see what's so difficult.

..everyone knows the answer is 42). Although the concept was interesting, I thought the movie went a little over the top and was too unrealistic at times. The ending was a little too cerebral for me, and didn't make a lot of sense.

I don't really like it when movies have so much symbolism and hidden meanings that they become almost incomprehensible. This one comes very close to that.
