Review of Pi (1998) by Tomas T — 30 May 2010
A skitsofrenic tale of a genius who sees mathematical patterns all around him. It does not take too long for different factions to notice him and try to use his mind for their own purposes.
Pi is beautifully directed, it is intentionally chaotic and yet understandable and it literally takes the viewer inside a mans unstable mind. Pi is however not for the light hearted, the movie is oppressive, depressive and chocking at times but for people who enjoy intellectual movies, Pi is a great movie.
