Review of Pi (1998) by Ol R — 01 Jan 2012
Pi represents Aronofsky's style perfectly and has the same focus as his later, more notorious/acclaimed films, though this debut benefits from having a lower budget and no big-name actors, ultimately resulting in a less-pretentious film.
Also the lead character is much more likeable than anyone from Requiem For a Dream, his most relevant film(to this, at least).
