The first 20 minutes are somewhat interesting, but the remaining 60 minutes are absolutely pointless, non-sense, pathetic, pretentious and boring. Extremely overrated and it is by a long shot Darren Aronofsky's worst film.
There are some very tiny glimpses of his true talents, like some camera angles, his signature editing techniques, or special takes, that he would develop in further films, but besides these, the film is a complete mess.
