Review of Phone Booth (2003) by Francisco S — 27 Dec 2015
It is one thing to make a film that uses it's time wisely and another to make a film that doesn't outstay it's welcome. Phone both wins on both fronts as a pacey and involving story about a white-collar-wannabe who has his life broken down and unraveled by a simple phone call.
There are some good turns in this one, but it is basically down to Colin Farrell and Kiefer Sutherland to display drama in it's rawest form; a conversation with many consequences attached. A pleasingly unique and enjoyable film.
