Review of Phobia 2 (2009) by Christopher B — 08 Apr 2010
For once, a decent Asian (Thai) horror movie that doesn't involve female ghosts with long, wet hair. This one is tabbed as a sequel, but it's really just a follow-up to the episodic "Phobia," which treated us to four separate ghost stories, a la "Creepshow" for you '80's buffs.
"Phobia 5" presents us with five new stories, and while every story doesn't deliver a full punch, they're all quite well done. Highlights include finding out what can happen to you if you eat food left out for the dead and playful jabs at horror movies with the aforementioned long-haired ghosts.
