Review of Phir Milenge (2004) by Avani Y — 17 Nov 2007
One of my personal favorites. A subject that hadn't been touched upon here - It's based on Philadelphia which incidentally released 10 years before this one. But for an Indian movie this was a welcome change. The simplistic home, some normal regular clothes and lines that real people actually say and were convincingly delivered by the actors brought the story to life. Add to that some lovely lovely music. I mean Jeene ke Ishare has to be one the most beautiful songs ever :).
Later on came the much- hyped My Brother Nikhil - which was along the same lines. Somehow I remain partial to the former :p.
