Review of Philomena (2013) by Richard P — 28 Feb 2014
Philomena is an incredibly touching story that leaves the viewer with a powerful message: If someone does you wrong, you can hold on to your bitterness and anger, or you can forgive and be the better, stronger person.
Both Judi Dench and Steve Coogan give powerful performances. If the Oscars weren't so cliquish and political, I would like to think that this film and Dench would win hands-down.
