Review of Philadelphia (1993) by Cassie H — 20 Nov 2012
Tom Hanks defies the odds in this film as a gay man, Andrew Beckett, with AIDS and Denzel Washington as his lawyer, Joe Miller. This film is beautiful to me because, he doesn't give up the fight against people discriminating against him because of his AIDS, which makes you stay with Andrew Beckett's cause until the end of this movie film.
Tom Hanks honestly and completely deserved the Oscar he won for this film, because he is an extraordinary actor. This is a phenomenal film.
