Review of Philadelphia (1993) by Hung-Ya L — 12 Aug 2014
I am never a huge fan of Denzel Washington but occasionally I do appreciate his movies every once in a while, and Philadelphia happens to be one of them. Tom Hanks's top notch acting as an AIDS patient is no doubt.
The most brilliant part of the movie is that when Tom Hanks walked out of the building, Bruce Springsteen's song, Philadelphia, rhythm started to play in the background. It makes the sequence so much sadder and adds more depth into it.
