Review of Phenomena (1985) by Hans M — 17 Nov 2008
I give Argento credit for trying new things in his movies, but they are always a complete mess. In all of his films, the music (although very good) hardly ever matches with whats happening on screen. In one scene of Phenomena, a girl is being chased by a serial killer, but its set to Iron Maiden! The movie is ridiculous, and having a monkey as a central character is stupid and laughable.
Buy the soundtracks to Argento's films, but stay away from the movies themselves.
