Review of Phantom Thread (2017) by Mrdr4Gon — 12 Feb 2018
Suffers from some awkward setup moments early on, with some strange character interactions that fall flat. Nonetheless Phantom Thread more than makes up for these defects by being a beautifully shot film with some fantastically subtle performances.
Well worth a watch for having a rich aesthetic that harkens back to old Hollywood and of course, for Daniel Day Lewis's final performance.
