The acting rates 5 stars. The score rates 5 stars. The cinematography rates 5 stars. So why didn't I give this movie 5 stars? Because the plot was thin (especially for a movie more than 2 hours long) and left too many unanswered questions, such as why Alma was so determined to hang on to a man who apparently didn't give her much either emotionally or physically.
